Reliability, Safety and Maintenance Engineer

Context:
LGM North America is looking for Reliability, Safety and Maintenance Engineers. Do you have experience in this field and you want to take your career to the next level? You will work in a corporate technical support services team environment with systems and development engineers to generate all relevant ILS deliverables.
We will expect you to be detailed-oriented, with well-developed technical writing, good interpersonal communication skills, good organizational and analytical skills. You need to be experienced in MIL-STD-1388-2B, GEIA-STD-0007, DEF-STD-00-60, and S3000L Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and the development of high quality ILS/RAMS deliverables.

Your responsibilities:
  • Analyzing customer ILS requirements and generating estimâtes.
  • Developing ILS plan to meet the program needs.
  • Component and system-level reliability calculations (MTBF, MTBR, MTBUR), from vendor data.
  • Capitalize on previous experience with respect to improving equipment reliability.
  • Analyze equipment reliability history to determine issues and provide solutions.
  • Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
  • Identify, recommend or implement maintenance best practices related to equipment and processes by remaining current on industry and safety practices.
  • Developing product maintenance tasks in conjunction with engineers and technicians.
  • Writing operations and maintenance manuals with inputs from engineers.
  • Provides ILS/LSA proposal inputs; written responses, Plans, Level Of Effort (LOE) estimates, scheduling.
  • Functional failures and Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMEA/FMECA).
Your profile:
  • University degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum five years of experience in railway, naval or aerospace ILS field.
  • Strong problem solving skills, as well as the ability to identify, and initiate opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills, in order to complete multiple tasks within restricted time frames.
  • Strong analytical skills, in order to review vendor data and determine issues/solutions (root cause analysis).
  • Experience in developing technical manuals.
  • Knowledge of computer-based training development process.
  • Knowledge and experience in reliability, maintainability and availability analysis.
  • Knowledge and experience in performing Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Prediction, System Safety.
  • Experience in performing spares analysis.
  • Good working knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Good working knowledge of the CAFTA, RELEX.
  • Strong ability to interface with customers in support of  Logistics Management and Support.
  • Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
