In the framework of developing our activities, LGM North America is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator for the spare parts on a project in railways field. Your responsibilities:
  • Realize the support to production by ensuring availability of parts at the workplace within the required time in a railway manufacturing environment.
  • Analyze disparities of manufacturing and propose solutions.
  • Responsible for all stages of the process of production starting from the release of engineering plans to receiving parts at the assembly stations.
  • Coordinate engineering changes through the supply chain.
  • Participate in program reviews of potential size and optimization of stocks, maintenance plans, life cycle cost.
  • Plans and harmonizes changes based on the required output.
  • Responsible for ensuring good governance of the entire supply chain to ensure the visibility of performance and communication.
  • Work with buyers to coordinate and support purchasing activities.
  • Follow-up with the suppliers and procurement department on each assigned project.
  • Contribute in project status reports and other project management documentation.
  • Build a strong relationship with the client based on confidence.
Your profile:
  • Bachelors’ degree in engineering is an asset.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience of working with the following concepts: price catalogues, integrated logistics support, CMMS, supply chain management, life cycle cost and optimization of spare parts stocks in a manufacturing environment.
  • Above average working knowledge of personal computer software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Client oriented attitude.
