Your responsibilities:

• Determine necessary product specifications in the design phase to conform to customer needs;

• Define the requirements in terms of reliability, availability, maintainability and safety (RAMS) for the project;

• Perform risk analyses, design calculations, and design reviews, to verify that design meets or exceeds product specifications;

• Analyze and propose project schedule for the activities in order to reach the targeted objectives;

• Assist other teams in implementing the requirements into their applications and the design phase;

• Participate in technical and administrative meetings;

• Build a strong relationship with the client based on confidence.

Your profile:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical engineering or relevant;

• Must have a first previous experience in engineering activities with ideally minimum 1 year railway related experience;

• Good knowledge of CENELEC, MIL-STD-882 and the AREMA Standards is an asset;

• Previous experience with RAMS methodologies such as PHAs, O&SHAs, FTAs, FMECAs, Hazard Logs, and Safety Cases;

• Good communication skills—both written and verbal;

• Works in a proactive manner, a self-starter who approaches his/her work with a sense of urgency;

• Autonomous, delivery focus;

• Client oriented attitude.
